The Montessori prepared environment and three year age-range are fundamental to the Montessori method of education. The Montessori classroom is prepared with great care and encompasses areas of learning and socializing that are designed to foster independence, concentration, self-motivation and a love of learning.
Essential to the emphasis on independence and self-motivation is the fact that the materials in the classroom are accessible to the children. The children are free to choose activities appropriate to their level, and to progress and develop at their own pace. |

Our Morning and Afternoon programs offer the children a developmentally appropriate, academically enriched, authentic Montessori environment.
Essential to the emphasis on independence and self-motivation is the fact that the materials in the classroom are accessible to the children. The children are free to choose activities appropriate to their level, and to progress and develop at their own pace.
The yearly program starts after Labor Day in September and ends in mid-June.
Summer Program
Our Summer program is offered in July and August in the mornings only. It is optional, but is a good time for new students to make new friends and become familiar with the teachers and the program.
